COVID-19 SAFETY
Make Your Mark Fitness has been affected by COVID-19 amongst many businesses. Thank you for supporting us during this time. This page will be constantly updated with new policies and ways we are keeping our gym COVID-Free! So be sure to check in prior to your booking for any changes. Current update from July 10, 2021.
Bookings:
We expect to have a limited number of members and staff therefore visits are by appointment only. You may book online or contact us via e-mail or telephone to set up your appointment.
We will be scheduling 8-10 visitors at a time for every 1.5hr time-slot. One may book 2 consecutive time-slots a day for their workout, for a maximum of 3hrs. Bookings will open biweekly and you may book up until 30 minutes before the scheduled start time, if there is availability.
Please be considerate of other members and if you cannot make your appointment, reschedule or cancel your booking as needed!
IF YOU DO NOT CANCEL/RESCHEDULE YOUR BOOKING YOU WILL LOSE THE ABILITY TO BOOK FOR 7 DAYS.
Be PUNCTUAL for your appointment as NO EXTRA TIME will be given for your booking. We also expect one to wrap up during your booking, so be mindful and give yourself 10-15 mins to wrap up cleaning, putting away the equipment, using the washroom etc.
Screening and entry:
Upon arrival, members will scan a QR code to access our COVID-19 screening questionnaire to help prevent the spread and keep our facility and members safe. If you answer “YES” to any of the questions please delay your visit and contact your health care provider.
Our liability waiver must be agreed to and signed prior to first-time visitors, as usual. To limit contact you may download, sign and email back the waiver to mymbarbell@gmail.com.
Upon entry to the facility members will be asked to wash hands prior to touching any equipment and remove outdoor shoes/clothing.
We have the rights to deny entry to ANYONE we suspect that may be affected or shows symptoms of COVID-19.
What to expect from your visit:
Several signs and postings are installed in order to remind staff and members to keep social distancing and have good hygiene. This allows us to set cleaning schedules to keep the entire facility clean. Cleaning will occur throughout the day, in between each appointment.
We expect members to aid us in cleaning their equipment after use, as was done prior to COVID-19. This includes using the brush to take off chalk, using wipes to clean the benches, etc.
Equipment has been moved to keep everyone at least 2 metres apart while working out.
Garage door will be open, weather permitting, to keep the air as fresh as possible.
Our sincere apologies for the inconvenience this might bring upon all of us but safety is our top priority, thankfully our gym space is easy to manage and we hope to see you soon!
